About the site

WHAT TO EXPECT:

A Thousand Miles Away originally started off as a school project, but now it has turned into something much bigger - it represents one of my greatest passions - travelling.

 I realize I'm very lucky to have the opportunity to travel across Europe with my amazing family and friends. Not everyone has this awesome chance and I want to share my experience with the world. 

 Don't expect just the boring photos and flavorless texts; I hope to be able to make the posts funny and exciting. In other words, to make you, the reader, feel like you're really there.

 Finally, I would like to say that this is NOT just a travelling blog - I have many other passions as well, and I hope to share them here, too
